Attorney
Sarah Bordner, Esq.
Sarah is the founder and managing attorney for Bordner Law. She is equipped with nearly 20 years of law enforcement experience and extensive knowledge of the inner workings of police departments. Sarah is a dedicated, results-oriented attorney with a reputation for responsive client service and positive outcomes in court.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Sarah was a police officer with the Ocean City Police Department, followed by the Baltimore County Police Department, where she received multiple accolades. Her time as a police officer gives her an unprecedented level of insider knowledge surrounding criminal matters, traffic and impaired driving offenses.
With an undergraduate degree in Criminology from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, she has shown a lifelong proclivity for criminal justice.
As an officer, Sarah trained for additional certifications including Accident Reconstructionist, Drug Recognition Expert & Instructor, Standardized Field Sobriety Testing/DUI Instructor, Evidentiary Breath Test Instrument Operator and Radar/LIDAR Operator. She also served as an undercover narcotics detective.
Sarah attended the University of Baltimore School of Law. While there, she was a member of the Bob Parsons Veterans Advocacy Clinic where she served as a student attorney, representing military veterans before the Department of Veterans Affairs, assisting those veterans in obtaining the disability benefits they earned through their service to this country. She also represented veterans seeking to upgrade their character of discharge from the military. She’s also worked with the Veterans Court in Baltimore City, and is a Veterans Administration Accredited Attorney.

Amy Cagle
Amy has worked as a paralegal for over 30 years, primarily in the areas of personal injury, workers’ compensation, and criminal defense. In the area of personal injury, Amy has extensive knowledge in trial preparation and litigation. As an experienced litigation paralegal, she has participated in civil jury and non-jury trials throughout Maryland. In the area of criminal defense, Amy has worked alongside attorneys in some very high-profile cases. In the course of her daily duties, she regularly assists with client interviews, drafting of legal documents and correspondence, and participates in trial preparation. The thing she loves most about her job is providing encouragement and assistance to clients to help reduce their anxiety about the legal process.
